Sure you can take it to the course! We would prefer that you protect the wood and the engraved area from marring by using a separate tube lined with plush felt or cloth, though.
Maximum length is 11 inches.
Maximum height is 3/8 inch.
We suggest a maximum of 50 total characters & spaces.
We can use your 4-color logo to create black & white art, but lasers only burn in 1 color: black. If you have crisp, clear B&W art we prefer that.
That's an easy ONE! ............1 putter!
You do save, however, if you are buying 3 or more. And discounts are HUGE if you need bunches for an outing or planned giveaway!.
Yes!
Angus is pretty liberal-minded, but won't permit any profanity engraved on his putters. See our "Wall of Fame" for engraving ideas!
Almost! We can make them as short as 22 inches (baby announcement or present) or as long as 37". Standard length for our putters is 34".......hickory shafts longer than 35" tend to be "whippy" compared to steel-shafted clubs.
On credit card orders it starts as soon as we have your order processed and receive bank authorization. Orders paid for by postal money orders start immediately, and orders paid by check begin upon check clearance (usually less than 10 days).
Absolutely! If you're faxing or mailing, print out the order form from your computer and fill it in. See "Contact Information" for fax# or mailing address. If you're phoning it in,

Virtually all of our putters are custom-made, with shaft engraving, putter length, grip selection or head selection. A putter is constructed only when the customer orders one; putters are not "inventoried" in a finished state. Once a putter has been constructed, it is uniquely yours and yours alone. We DO stand behind the quality of both materials and our workmanship for your lifetime, and will repair or replace your putter at our option if there is any defect due to either of those. If your putter shows any sign of accident or abuse, we will repair or replace at your expense. Please remember that the main part of this putter is not a modern composite, but a product of nature and will not take abuse like a modern material.
Hickory, over time, will "crook" or bend. This is a natural occurrence and only adds authenticity to its antique effect. If we question the spelling or wording for the engraving, we will make our best attempt to contact you before engraving.
For materials and workmanship: your lifetime. For accident or abuse: see above.
Sure! Send us an e-mail at the same time you send us the order and indicate which engraving is front and which is back. There will be an additional $18 charge. (Multiple units done the same are treated differently: call us.)
Sure! The standard order form, however, can't accommodate it. Please attach a note in the area designated on the order form and tell us exactly what you want.
Generally speaking, the bolder, the better. Tiny detail will end up competing with the natural woodgrain of the hickory. The illustration below, at 3/8" high, is about the maximum extent of a laser's capabilities on a curved hickory shaft.

Call Us! We'll make it happen!
There are several ways, but they all have one thing in common: the better the art that you send us, the better it will look on your club.
Hard copy. Crisp, clean black & white or color art. No smudges, creases, wrinkles, paper clips, scotch tape or staples. Put a piece of heavy cardboard behind it and mail it to us as fast as you can.
Digital art. If you have digital art, please convert it to either Bitmap (.btm), Tiff (.tif), Jpeg (.jpg) or GIF (.gif) and send it to us an an attachment on an e-mail.
Fax it. This is the least desirable, as the resolution on a fax machine is relatively poor. Use this ONLY for bold logos with
very little detail. Try to enlarge it to the maximum size on an 8-1/2x11 sheet before faxing. No guarantees on this method.

We'll reduce it proportionately to fit. If it looks like a problem, however, we'll call you or FAX you to show you what it will look like (fax #'s ARE important!).
Nope.
Sure! On checks, however, the order won't begin processing until the check clears (usually 10 days or less).
Yes. In the area for "Special Instructions" on the order form, tell us on which side it's to be as you're actually putting and looking down at the ball.
YES. Hickory will splinter over your knee instead of bend. Also, the area where the shaft joins the head is weaker than a steel or graphite shaft connection. Protect it like you would any normal one-of-a-kind heirloom.
